Al Todd is the current Snowsports Director on the board of Mountaineering Scotland, Chair of the Snowsports Touring Advisory Group, and past President of the Inverness Backcountry Snowsports Club (IBSC).
He is probably better known, however, through his images, which feature in a number of guidebooks, in his highly ranked UKC photo gallery, in many magazine articles, and in occasional TV and radio appearances that brilliantly illustrate his climbing, skiing, and walking adventures in the Scottish mountains.
In this talk he’ll showcase 30 years of making the most of frequently challenging—and sometimes brilliant—days on skis in Scotland, during which time, among other highlights, he’s skied to the top of over 100 Munros, was the first to climb/ski the ‘Tower Double’, and has skied the Great Stone Chute on Skye.
