Our Team

The Festival is entirely organised, run and managed by a committed team of volunteers. Everyone lives and works in the Outdoor Capital of the UK and is brought together by their passion for mountains and the great outdoors. They are committed to showcasing the amazing opportunities to engage with wild places across Lochaber and beyond.

If you’d like to get involved, email our volunteer co-ordinator for a chat.

Jack Blundy

Jack Blundy

Festival HQ Co-ordinator

Jack moved to the Lochaber with his partner almost four years ago, wanting to build a stronger sense of community and live amongst his favourite landscape, and is mostly found climbing and running in the hills, mountains and sea cliffs of the Highlands. When not busy with that, he works sharing his passion for the outdoors with young people at the Outward Bound Trust. This is Jack’s first year on the FWMF committee, where he has taken on the role of organising the exhibition. A long-time festival attendee, he values the atmosphere and the well-curated content that both inspires and educates him.

She’s a rock climber at heart but loves exploring mountains and all wild places – it’s where she feels most at home and always feels more energised after a day’s adventuring. Anna is responsible for the complete Festival programme, working with a range of people to put on a wide variety of inspiring shows.
